The honest take

Czechia is the EU country that most people forget to consider and then feel sheepish about once they visit. Prague is one of the most architecturally beautiful cities in Europe and has the courtesy not to have been bombed flat in WWII, so you can actually see it. The cost of living is materially lower than Western Europe while the infrastructure is materially better than most people expect. Beer is constitutionally important and priced accordingly (cheaper than water in some establishments, which has been independently verified). The healthcare system is solid, the rail connections are excellent, and Brno is quietly developing into a genuine tech and startup city for people who find Prague too touristy.
